Ötztal local heritage & outdoor museum - Längenfeld
The truly unique museum displays rural life and work in the Ötztal up to the Fifties of the 20th century. The museum puts on display the modest life of Ötztal's inhabitants and farmers in past times, also focusing on sociologic aspects.

Since December 2013, there is a marvelous mountain top restaurant at Gaislachkogl summit. The ice Q - a highly innovative gourmet temple - offers eye-catching architectural features and designs by using local building materials. A suspension bridge leads straight to the mountain peak. The ultimate restaurant with table service is renowned for its fine "Alpine Cuisine" at the highest level. Fine selection of wines, 93 seats indoors, 40 seats on the terrace and sunbathing terrace.
Glacier - Sölden
The panoramic Ötztal Glacier Road is the highest of its kind in the Eastern Alps, leading from the village of Sölden to the glacier ski areas of Rettenbach and Tiefenbach. Both glacier regions are interconnected by the Rosi Mittermeier Tunnel (1.8 km) which is Europe's highest road tunnel.
- Rettenbach and Tiefenbach Glaciers rank among Austria's largest glacier areas accessible for skiers and winter sport fans.
- Sölden has the world's only glacier ski area with an official European Test & Exhibition Center for all leading brands and sports equipment producers plus an Amer Station, both located at Rettenbach Glacier.
- An avant-garde theater performance takes place every two years on Sölden's Rettenbach Glacier: the historical crossing of the Alps by the Carthaginian Troops heading towards Rome.
- The most spectacular BIG 3 viewing platform (Panorama Footpath on Tiefenbachkogl, 3250 m) and the highest BIG 3 viewing platform (Natural Platform on Schwarze Schneide, 3340 m) can be found in the glacier ski areas.
Top Mountain MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM - Hochgurgl
The new Top Mountain Crosspoint can be found in the foothills of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road at 2175 m above sea level. The top modern, multifunctional complex comprises the base station of the Kirchenkar mountain gondola, the road toll station, a premium restaurant with table service and a motorcycle museum.
B-ART-EB'NE art trail - Vent
High Alpine open-air gallery in Rofental between Vent and the Rofenhöfe Farms
BARTEB’NE: Grazing Haflinger horses amidst shaggy grasslands which gave the name to this trail as BARTEB‘NE is a play on words of the Ötztal dialect which was declared a UNESCO Intangible World Cultural Heritage.
Rofenhöfe farms & supension bridge - Vent
The famous Rofenhöfe Farms are nestling 2 km above Vent at 2014 m altitude. You can visit the renowned Haflinger breeding of Franz Klotz, a local mountain farmer. One of his ancestors was Leander Klotz who was the first to conquer mighty Wildspitze peak in 1848. Franz Senn, the glacier priest, instructed him and his brother Nikodemus. Later they became the first mountain guides.
The 46-meter long Rofen suspension bridge, towering 31 meters above Rofnerschlucht ravine, was built by the Klotz brothers already in 1967 and renewed by the Tirolean Authorities in 1984. Before walkers had to cross Rofnerache brook on a narrow footpath by climbing the rocky walls.
